10 WEEK PRACTITIONER TRAINING

SEPTEMBER 2026

Sound Healer
Teacher Training

A professional certification in sound healing, breathwork, nervous system awareness and embodied space holding.

Created by Tanya Alijani, founder of the RIISE Method®, this training is for those who feel called to facilitate sound with depth, integrity and confidence.

This is not only a training in instruments. It is a practitioner pathway in sound, breath, presence, regulation and the responsibility of holding space for others.

Who You Become Through This Training

  • A grounded practitioner who understands the nervous system, not just the instruments

  • A confident facilitator ready to guide private sessions, retreats, classes, events and community spaces

  • A space holder who works with bowls, voice, breath, silence and presence as one complete system

  • A practitioner who can design intentional journeys for rest, release, integration and transformation

  • A leader who trusts her voice, her intuition and her ability to hold powerful spaces with clarity, care and responsibility

  • A guide ready to share sound healing in a way that supports others, impacts lives and brings more light into the world

This Training Is For You If…

  • You feel called to become certified

as a sound healing practitioner who can hold sessions with confidence, care and integrity.

  • You are walking your own healing path

and feel ready to turn what you have lived into something that can support others.

  • You are drawn to sound, breath and the nervous system

and want to understand why this work creates real change.

  • You want practical skills you can use

with sound healing instruments, voice, rhythm and silence, so you can guide private sessions, groups, retreats or community spaces.

  • You are ready to trust your voice

and step into the kind of presence that can hold a room with steadiness, beauty and care.

  • You see this work as a devotion

Sound healing became my lifes work because I experienced, firsthand, how powerfully it can work with the body, the nervous system and the parts of us that words cannot always reach.

For more than 15 years, I have been immersed in my own path of healing, meditation and self inquiry. Through lived experience, formal training and years of professional facilitation, I kept returning to one truth: sound does not create change by forcing. It creates change by offering safety, presence and a frequency the body can recognise.

This training brings together the many streams that have shaped my work, including sound healing, breathwork, meditation, Hatha Yoga, Kundalini Yoga, Himalayan Kriya, Yoga Nidra, Nada Yoga, somatic practice, cymatics, nervous system education and years of real world space holding.

It is different because it is not only about learning how to play instruments. It brings together sound, breath, nervous system awareness, intentional session design, voice, rhythm, silence, ethics and embodied facilitation, so you can hold sound in a way that is skilful, grounded and truly supportive.

Over the years, this work has taken me into therapeutic, artistic, educational, corporate and retreat spaces across Australia and internationally. I have facilitated sound for thousands of people, from intimate private sessions to large scale public experiences, including The LUME Melbourne, KAILO, Goop, By Charlotte, Forbes, Swisse, NAB, international retreats and events at the Sydney Opera House. My work has also been featured in The Australian, Marie Claire, WellBeing and other publications.

This training was born from that lived understanding. My intention is not to teach you only how to play instruments, but to help you remember the way sound wants to move through you. You will learn the structure, skill and responsibility of this work, while also learning to trust your own voice, your own sensitivity and the wisdom your life has given you, so you can hold sound in a way that feels honest, embodied and deeply supportive for the people you are here to serve.

What You Will Learn & Embody

This 10 week training moves through 8 core areas, guiding you from the foundations of sound, frequency and nervous system awareness into embodied facilitation, intentional session design and real world space holding.

You will learn the principles behind the RIISE Method®, while developing your own voice, presence and way of holding sound.
